Additionally, there are complaints that he has been stealing pieces of candy from the other patrons’ bags. Upon detaining the perp, his stepfather accompanies him to the backroom. His stepfather is cooperative, though the boy denies the charges. To make sure the perp is not prosecuted by local law enforcement, his stepfather joins the officer in disciplining him according to store protocol. The rest of this case is considered classified.
