March 24, 2018, 2:46pm. Petty Theft. 25 year old Hispanic male, 5’6”, was captured on camera stealing cash from the employee tip jar. Money had been reported missing time and time again, leading to a search of the camera’s logs. The suspect was seen multiple times around the jar when these reported thefts took place. During his most recent visit, the Loss Prevention Officer detained the suspect for questioning. While in custody, the suspect denied any theft, leading to a routine strip search to look for any additional stolen items. An understanding was reached by the suspect and the Loss Prevention Officer, and he was released without involvement of law enforcement.
